Nouvelair adds Manchester-Enfidha Starting 10th November, Nouvelair Tunisia will add a 2 weekly flight between Manchester and Enfidha: BJ777 NBE 1210 MAN 1535 Fri/Sun BJ778 MAN 1635 NBE 2000 Fri/Sun A320 used. The flight is initially on offer until 31st Jan but is to be made year round.  TUI also serve the route pair and was formally a Thomas Cook route before their collapse.

Jet2 adds 2 Greek routes. For summer 2020, Jet2 will add 2 new Greek routes from Manchester. Myteline: LS1753 MAN 0600 MJT 1205 Sat LS1753 MAN 0730 MJT 1320 Thu LS1754 MJT 1305 MAN 1505 Sat LS1754 MJT 1420 MAN 1620 Thu Thomas Cook previously served this route up until the airline collapsed, but, Jet2 will now be the only carrier on this route. Skiathos: LS1739 MAN 1340 JSI 1925 Wed/Sun LS1740 JSI 2025 MAN 2335 Wed/Sun TUI also serve Manchester-Skiathos. This joins Preveza, Zadar and Tivat as new routes for Summer 2020, with further changes and new routes likely.

SAS increases Bergen From 20th Feb 2020, SAS will increase its Bergen-Manchester route from 2 to 3 weekly. This increase is permanent, however the route does take its annual small break from July to August, the route returns at 3 weekly in Sept. Norwegian also serves the route on a 2 weekly basis.

Ryanair route changes For Summer 2020, Ryanair have the following cuts and additions to their Manchester schedule: Cut: Frankfurt. Was 5 weekly and ended at the start of the Winter 2019 Schedule. Girona, Ponta Delgada And Gran Canaria are also not operating in Summer 2020. New routes in Winter 2019 continuing into the summer schedule are Prague, Katowice and Milan Malpensa. One completely new route is Pisa, which transfers from Liverpool: FR5624 MAN 1425 PSA 1740 Tue FR5624 MAN 1700 PSA 2015 Thu/Sat FR5625 PSA 1245 MAN 1400 Tue FR5625 PSA 2040 MAN 2155 thu/Sat Begins 28th March.  Easyjet and Jet2 also serve this route pair.

Air Baltic adds Riga . Starting June 2nd 2021, Air Baltic will add a 4 weekly flight from Riga to Manchester, using a A220-300. BT671 RIX 1605 MAN 1655 Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun BT672 MAN 1735 RIX 2210 Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun A220-300 used. Ryanair currently serves this city pair, and Air Baltic have served Manchester,ending their services in 2011.

FlyEgypt adds Hurgarda charters Starting 15th October, FlyEgypt will add a weekly charter from Hurgarda to Manchester: FT8091 HRG 0930 MAN 1445 Tue FT8092 MAN 1545 HRG 2220 Tue. B737-800 used. These flights operate for a holiday company called Red Sea holidays due to the Thomas Cook collapse. Easyjet and TUI also serve the route.

Enter Air adds Banjul Starting December 2019, Enter Air will add a 1 weekly Manchester Banjul route on behalf of Gambia Experience. ENT1109 MAN 0830 BJL 1530 Mon ENT1110 BJL 1630 MAN 2310 Mon B737-800 used. This route is a replacement for the now defunct Thomas Cook.

Biman Bangladesh adds Manchester-Dhaka and Syhlet. Starting January 4th, Biman Bangladesh will add a 3 weekly Manchester-Dhaka flight, which also calls at Syhlet on the inbound sector. BG007 DAC 1230 MAN 1800 Tue, Thu, Sun BG208 MAN 2000 ZYL 1200 Tue, Thu, Sun B787-8 used on the flights.  This marks a return for Biman at Manchester. Their office has always remained open on Portland Street, Manchester and have previously offered Dhaka-Manchester-New York JFK but was suspended due to not obtaining the rights to switch the intermediate stop from Brussels to Manchester. They then tried again with a Dhaka-Heathrow-Manchester-Syhlet-Dhaka routing, but due to punctuality based slot sanctions at Heathrow, were again forced to suspend the route. It is expected that this flight will eventually be retimed and extended to New York JFK once again in the future.

Jet2 add Tivat. Starting 18th May 2020, Jet2 will add a 2 weekly Manchester-Tivat flight: LS989 MAN 0655 TIV 1105 Thu, Sun LS990 TIV 1205 MAN 1425 Thu, Sun Easyjet also serve this route on a 2 weekly basis.
