Delta to begin Boston-Manchester Starting 21st May 2020, Delta will begin a daily Boston-Manchester flight using a B757-200. This route will take over from the current 3 weekly Virgin Atlantic service which uses an A330. DL114 BOS 2200 MAN 0930 Daily DL115 MAN 1130 BOS 1400 Daily B757-200 used. This also marks a return for Delta to Manchester. The airline has previously served Atlanta and New York JFK to Manchester, but handed both routes to Joint Venture partner Virgin Atlantic which still operates the 2 routes amongst others.

SAS adds Stavanger Starting 8th November, SAS starts a 2 weekly Stavanger-Manchester flight: SK4849 SVG 1905 MAN 1945 Fri SK4849 SVG 1930 MAN 2021 Mon SK4850 MAN 2025 SVG 2300 Fri SK4850 MAN 2050 SVG 2325 Mon B737-700/800 used on this route. Norwegian also serves this city pair on the same days. Also to note, this is 6th route from Manchester, continuing to Manchester its biggest airport in the U.K. in terms of destinations served.

Easyjet winter 2019 changes. For the Winter 2019/2020 season, Easyjet is adjusting several routes. This is due to an increase of based aircraft. Increases encompass the majority of the winter season but there are some weeks where the increase is not in operation. The increase or decrease is based on last winters offering. Further changes are likely. Easyjet increases Tel Aviv. Starting October 27th, Easyjet will add a 3rd weekly flight to its Manchester-Tel Aviv flight. The new flight will be on Sundays. EL AL also serve this route twice weekly in winter and three weekly in summer.

Nile Air to operate Hurghada charters. Starting 22nd December 2019 until 22nd March 2020, Nile Air will operate a 1 weekly Hurghada-Manchester flight on Sundays: NP7301 HRG 0245 MAN 0655 NP7302 MAN 0755 HRG 1525 A320 used. As these flights are not available to view in traditional schedules, they are subject to late changes/cancellations. The route is currently served by Thomas Cook and TUI.
